LS201.043.0055 dry vertical spiral centrifugal pump is a spiral centrifugal pump with a pump shaft arranged vertically and its motor and bearing parts located above the liquid level in a dry environment. It penetrates deep into the liquid through a long axis, driving the spiral centrifugal impeller located at the bottom of the pump body to work.

Features

The vertical spiral centrifugal pump inherits all the advantages of the spiral centrifugal impeller pump and can efficiently transport media containing large particles and long fibers.  The motor is completely exposed to the air, with excellent heat dissipation conditions and will never be submerged, avoiding the risk of submersible pump motors easily burning out.

The vertical structure makes its foundation occupy a very small area, which is very suitable for pump pits or water pools with limited space.  When repairing the motor, upper bearing, and top mechanical seal, there is no need to lift the entire heavy-duty pump unit out of the deep pit like a submersible pump.  It only needs to be operated at the top, greatly saving manpower and time.  By adjusting the length of the long axis, it is easy to adapt to different underwater depths, and the efficiency of the pump will not be significantly affected by the head like submersible pumps.

The dry vertical spiral centrifugal pump achieves an excellent balance between footprint, deep pit applicability, and maintenance convenience.  It significantly improves long-term reliability by placing vulnerable motors in dry areas, while utilizing a vertical structure to solve space and depth issues.  Although its long axis and shaft sealing system bring specific maintenance considerations, it is still one of the most mainstream and reliable choices in medium and large-scale sewage and rainwater lifting projects.

  • Municipal sewage lifting pump station: This is its most classic application scenario, especially the main pump.

  • Industrial wastewater tank: lifting and conveying of deep pit wastewater in the factory.

  • Rainwater discharge pump station: occasions that require high flow discharge.

  • Sewage treatment plant: inlet pump room, return sludge pump, etc.

  • Flood control and drainage: large vertical pump station.


When you need deep pit transportation (such as sewage lift pump stations) and want the motor to be easy to maintain and more reliable than submersible pumps.  It is the mainstream choice for large pumping stations.
