Features
Spiral centrifugal impeller: This type of impeller is neither like a regular centrifugal impeller (mainly consisting of blades) nor like the spiral of a screw pump. It has a twisted, single (or double) channel impeller shaped like a sickle shaped spiral drill bit. This unique design gives it strong passability. When the medium enters the impeller, it first passes through the spiral part at the front end of the impeller. This part is like a slowly rotating spiral rod, which can effectively "grasp" and "wrap" long fibers and strips, and transport them towards the outlet direction of the pump, while tearing and cutting. When the medium is transported by the spiral part to the open flow channel at the rear of the impeller, centrifugal force begins to play a dominant role, like traditional centrifugal pumps, throwing the medium (including crushed solid particles) out at high speed, generating the required pressure and flow rate.
Excellent non blocking performance: This is its biggest advantage. It can easily pass large diameter solid particles (such as stones, plastic bottles) and highly entangled fibers (such as hair, cloth strips, sanitary products, plastic bags, etc.), making it a star product in sewage treatment.
Efficient and energy-saving: Due to the use of advanced hydraulic models, its efficiency is usually higher than that of ordinary sewage pumps.
Good cavitation performance: The spiral part can smoothly introduce the medium, reducing the occurrence of eddies and cavitation, making the operation smoother and the noise lower.
Wear resistance: For abrasive media containing small particles, its performance is also better than many other types of pumps.
Submersible spiral centrifugal pump is a high-performance pump designed specifically for challenging working conditions. It is an ideal choice when the medium you need to handle contains solids or fibers that are prone to clogging and entanglement. Its excellent reliability, low maintenance cost, and high efficiency can bring extremely high long-term value in critical municipal and industrial applications.
Application
Due to its excellent anti clogging ability, submersible spiral centrifugal pumps are mainly used for:
Municipal sewage treatment: The inlet and lift pump station of the sewage treatment plant are used to transport untreated raw sewage, which contains a large amount of impurities.
Industrial wastewater treatment: Wastewater from industries such as papermaking, textiles, and food processing contains a large amount of fibers and solid waste.
Construction site drainage: Discharge accumulated water containing impurities such as sediment and gravel.
Rainwater discharge: The urban rainwater pipe network may contain debris such as leaves and garbage.
Agricultural drainage irrigation: pumping water from channels or ponds containing weeds and straw.
